This user guide explains the operation of the Employee Banking System (EBS), which is part of the Basic Banking System (BBS). It is assumed that the configuration is used for demonstration or test purposes. A production release is not yet available as the system needs adaptations and bug fixing before widespread production use is possible. It is assumed that you have installed the BBS on your own computer. You can also use the demonstration version on the apex.oracle.com website, but this system does not fully operate due to limitations set by Oracle. However, if you only want to explore the user interface, the demonstration version on the Oracle website is sufficient.
Login and logout Login Go to the application logon URL. If you have installed the system yourself then it is http://[hostname]:[port]/apex/f?p=[application id], for instance http://dev.naturalmoney.org:8080/apex/f?p=1012. The introduction screen appears.
Click on login.
Supply username, password, identifier number and identifier value. Identifier number must be an integer number, and the identifier value should be the same. The demonstration user is SARAHHOLDER if you logon to Natural Money Bank and SARAHCOLDER if you logon to Bank of Eden. The password is Welcome01. After being logged in, you go back to the introduction page, but now you have more options, such as overview and account holder.
Logout You can logout by clicking on logout in the upper right corner of the screen. Employee menu Tasks By clicking on tasks you can see your personal tasks, the unassigned tasks of the groups you are in and the assigned tasks of the groups you are in.
By clicking on the magnifying glass icon on the left side of the row, you can work on the task. By clicking on the move to person icon on the right side of the row, you can assign a group task to yourself or unassign a personal task. Change password By clicking on change password you can change your password.
Account holder menu New account holder By clicking on new in the account holder menu, you can register a new account holder. This will be explained in more detail in the account holder administration section. Account holder selection By clicking on account holder, you can select an account holder based on search criteria.
After pressing on search, you will see the account holders that match the search criteria, in this case account holders with internal names containing 'S' and names containing 'older'.
Account holder overview By clicking on the rectangle before an account holder, you will get an overview of the accounts the account holder has access to.
Edit account holder By clicking on edit in the account holder menu, you will to a form where you can edit account holder data.
You can edit nationality data by selecting a nationality and clicking on the edit button right below nationality. You can edit address data by selecting an address and clicking on the edit button right below address. You can edit document data by selecting a document and clicking on the edit button right below document. You can edit user data by clicking on the edit user data button. Review account holder By clicking on review in the account holder menu, you will to a form where you can view account holder data.
You can view nationality data by selecting a nationality and clicking on the view button right below nationality. You can view address data by selecting an address and clicking on the view button right below address. You can view document data by selecting a document and clicking on the view button right below document. You can view user data by clicking on the view user data button. Settings By clicking on settings in the account holder menu, you will to a form where you can edit the account holder settings.
The following parameters can be edited: - Default country: the code of the country of the region the account holder is in. - State or Province: the code of the state or province of the region the account holder is in. - Default currency: the default currency to be used in payment orders. - Preferred currencies: the preferred currencies to be used in payment orders. They will appear in a preferred currencies list of values. - Default bank: the default bank to be used in payment orders. - Preferred banks: the preferred banks to be used in payment orders. They will appear in a preferred banks list of values. By clicking on the edit icon you can edit the account holder setting.
Specifying an invalid value will result in an error message. Personal information By clicking on personal information, you will see the personal information of the account holder.
You can change the email addresses or change the language for the account holder. Account book By clicking on account book in the account holder menu, you can view the account book of the account holder.
Account menu New account By clicking on new in the account menu, you can register a new account holder. This will be explained in more detail in the account administration section. Show account holder The show account holder screen displays all accounts the account holder has access to.
Show account By clicking on the rectangle before an account, the account data are shown. If there are any transactions not yet on an bank statement, you will see them there.
Edit account By clicking on edit in the account menu, you will to a form where you can edit account data.
You can edit account holding data by selecting an account holding and clicking on the edit button right below account holding. You can edit account currency data by selecting an account currency and clicking on the edit button right below account currency. You can edit document data by selecting a document and clicking on the edit button right below document. You can close the account by clicking on close. Review account By clicking on review in the account menu, you will to a form where you can view account data.
You can view account holding data by selecting an account holding and clicking on the view button right below account holding. You can view account currency data by selecting an account currency and clicking on the view button right below account currency. You can view document data by selecting a document and clicking on the view button right below document. Bank statements By clicking on bank statements in the account menu, you will to a form where you can view the bank statements of the account.
By clicking on the rectangle before a bank statement, you will see the bank statement details.
You can click on [printer friendly] in the menu to get a printer friendly copy of the bank statement that you can print. You can click on [previous] in the menu to see the previous bank statement. You can click on [next] in the menu to see the next bank statement. Transactions By clicking on transactions in the account menu, you will get an overview of the transactions for the account.
You can further refine your search by supplying an account currency, a transaction currency, a minimum amount (in the account currency), a maximum amount (in the account currency), a minimum base amount (in the transaction currency), a maximum base amount (in the transaction currency), a begindate and an enddate. By clicking on the rectangle before a transaction, you will see the transaction details.
Payment orders By clicking on payment orders in the account menu, you will get an overview of the payment orders for the account.

Collect permissions By clicking on collect permissions in the account menu, you will get an overview of the collect permissions for the account.

Introduction To support separation of responsibilities, there is a review process and an approval process available. The parameter AHR Approval Processing (AHAP) can be used to enable and disable them: - Both (B): the review process as well as the approval process are enabled; - Approval (A): only the approval process is enabled; - None (N): the review process as well as the approval process are disabled. Account holder registration Register account holder To register an account holder you first have to log on as a user that has the EBS Account Holder Clerk privilege, for example the user AHOLCLER with password Welcome01. By clicking on new in the account holder menu, you can register a new account holder.
By clicking on save, you start the registration process and a task has been assigned to you. The task will remain open until the registration process has been completed.
Register nationality By clicking on edit right below nationality, you can register nationality data for the account holder.
The indentification number can be the number of the document or the number identifying the person, for example a social security number. By clicking on save, the nationality data is stored. Register nationality documents By clicking on edit right below document, you can register documents for the nationality.
By clicking on the browse button next to the document image field, you can upload an image copy of the document.
After selecting the document, you can click on save to save the document.
You can view the document by clicking on view.
By clicking on back in the document image form, you go back to the edit legal document form. By clicking on back in the edit legal document form, you go back to the edit nationality form. Register representative By clicking on back in the edit nationality form, you go back to the edit account holder form. You can add another nationality by selecting new for nationality and clicking on the edit button right below nationality. There can only be one nationality active at a time, so the previous nationality must get and end date.
By clicking on edit right below representative, you can register representative data for the account holder. You can select an another account holder that will be the representative with a pop up list of values.
If you click on save the representative data are saved.
Register representative documents By clicking on edit right below document, you can register documents for the representative, in this case an agency start document so someone can represent the account holder. By clicking on the browse button next to the document image field, you can upload an image copy of the document. After selecting the document, you can click on save to save the document.
You can view the document by clicking on view. By clicking on back in the document image form, you go back to the edit legal document form. By clicking on back in the edit legal document form, you go back to the edit representative form. Register address By clicking on back in the edit representative form, you go back to the edit account holder form. You can add another representative by selecting new for representative and clicking on the edit button right below representative.
By clicking on edit right below address, you can register address data for the account holder.
First you select country and state or province. Then you supply a postal code and house number. After that you click on retrieve so the address is retrieved from the database. If the address is in the database, but also when it is not, you can save the address information by clicking on save.
If the address is not in the database, you can verify the address using the address verification service by clicking on verify.
After clicking on verify, you will return to the edit account holder form. If the address is valid the address data will be supplied by the address verification service after some time (typically less than one minute). You can view the result by selecting the address you entered and clicking on edit right below address.
You add a new address by selecting new and clicking on edit right below address. The account holder can only have one statutory address, so you must select another address type, for example postal address. First you select country and state or province. Then you supply a postal code and house number. After that you click on retrieve so the address is retrieved from the database. You can save the address information by clicking on save. If the address is not in the database, you can verify the address using the address verification service by clicking on verify.
If the verification fails then the address service does not know the address. Possibly the address is not correct or the address service does not know the address, for example because it address service does not cover the area.
You can still add the address manually. After clicking on save the fields postal code and house number are emptied.
Register account holder documents By clicking on edit right below document, you can add account holder documents.
There must be an account holder start contract. You can select a representative if the document must be signed by the representative. You can generate the document by clicking on save.
You can view the generated document by clicking on view. By clicking on back in the edit document text form, you go back to the edit legal document form. By clicking on back in the edit legal document form, you go back to the edit account holder form.
If the check box system user is checked then there must be an internet banking start contract. You can add this document by selecting a new document and clicking on edit right below document. Now you can upload the document and click on save.
Edit user data By clicking on back in the edit legal document form, you go back to the edit account holder form.
By clicking on edit user data, you can add user data for the account holder.
Process account holder By clicking on back in the edit user form, you go back to the edit account holder form.
By clicking on process account holder, the account holder data is submitted for further processing. The task is now closed and it is removed from the task list.
